I have to say it:
Happy Fourth of July!
In celebration of Americans' love of picnicking and barbequing each fourth of July, I have a very important question to ask my fellow writers:
If you were a condiment, what would it be?
For me, I'd have to say tangy mustard. It's deceptively "normal looking" and then packs an unexpected wallop.
How about you?

I'd be sauerkraut. I've always loved sauerkraut because it comes from humble (and smelly) beginnings and it takes a strong constitution to continue making it long after it smells like it should be thrown out. :))
And I have no idea what that says about me - I'm smelly and tough to stick with? LOL
Hope you had a happy 4th!
What condiment would I be? Well, I do love mustard, but how about olives? I like the fact that the trees are so old. Their fruit are pieces of today mixed with generations of years.
Lori:
Hmmm... it's hard to put a positive spin on pungent sauerkraut, isn't it? Maybe we could say that it means you're adventurous and memorable. How's that?
Jason:
Olives are a favorite of mine, too. But I've never thought about their historical significance. I'll never look at one the same way again. :)
