April Fool's Day

I'd really like to play a fun joke on my five-and-a-half year old, but I'm stumped! I was thinking it would be silly to put something goofy in his snack bag for school... but that's about as far as I got.

Any thoughts? Have you ever played joke that was particularly noteworthy on anyone ?

April fool’s day is one of my favorite, I always try to come up with something new each year. I haven't ever played an April fools joke on a child before, so can't help you there. Here are some of my favorite hoaxes that I draw inspiration from, you can vote on your favorite: http://www.toptentopten.com/topten/april+fools_+hoaxes+ever

I have no idea, but I like the new look. The photo is great - as far as I recall it's one of your important relatives.
I'd use some soft-colored, calming side decoration to nicely match the sepia of the photo, but that's just my idea. And it's your blog, it's nice now as it is.

I'm late, but yes, I used to pull pranks on my kids ... just silly ones. I caught up on old posts and I too love learning new words and using them. My favorite word is construct ... not where you construct something, but where you say, "the basic construct ..." I don't know why I love it, but I do. When I was 5 through like 30, my favorite word was technology. =/

Angelique--stumbled on your April Fool query today, two plus months later. I wrote a recollection of how my mother used to trick me every April Fool's on my blog this April First... www.joshhooper.com. Hope all is going well.
