In honor of my son's first-ever day off school because of weather

Waking late
Baking date

Happy faces
Relaxed paces

Rosy cheeks
Happy shrieks

Sloppy clothes
Drippy nose

Jump and play
Snowy day.

Nice, Angelique! Staying at home certainly means sloppy clothes for me too, and after getting dressed up every day for the past few months, it's great.

Are you hoping he'll go back to school tomorrow, though? Our girls were off recently when it flooded here, and you'd have thought it was Christmas and their birthdays all in one go. Nothing like getting a treat you never expected...

Haven't seen you in a bit. Loved this one and the pic.

What about writing a play from Hell or about Hell? :::devil horn salute:::

Awesome. This was great. I want a snow day!

Mary:

I actually really enjoyed the opportunity to play for a while with him, although I think if it had gone on for longer than a day, I would have been pulling my hair out!

Beth:

I must confess that the pic was taken during a snow romp (not a snow day) at his grandmother's, but I think it illustrates the fun!

I know! When do adults REALLY get a snow day? As someone who works from home, I could take one anytime, theoretically, but I'd feel sooooo guilty if I did!

Hey, it's hard to tell and I could be wrong, but did you get your hair cut?
