Happy Fourth of July!

In celebration of Americans' love of picnicking and barbequing each fourth of July, I have a very important question to ask my fellow writers:

  • If you were a condiment, what would it be?

For me, I'd have to say tangy mustard. It's deceptively "normal looking" and then packs an unexpected wallop.

How about you?

Hmmm. After careful consideration, I think I'd be potato salad. Sometimes I'm bland, sometimes I'm staid, sometimes I'm even a little spicy. Generally, I profit from being kept cold, and I often have a lot of weird stuff in me -- somnetimes, stuff that other people don't much like. Part of me is hardboiled, but a lot of me is somewhat oily. And onions -- I'm almost always full of onions.

I'd be ketchup. Everyone loves ketchup. And if they don't, they're just weird. ~Karen

Horseradish. Bitter and definitely misunderstood.
