You know you need to perk up your life when...

... incredibly psychotic stalkers lose interest in you;

... peeping toms fall asleep in your shrubbery while watching you blog and write for hours;

... the only people who whistle at you are visually impaired;

... family members actually suggest you go back to your computer;

... the suicide hotline calls you, and then puts you on hold;

... Mormons skip your door...

... your child would rather play with toe jam than with you;

... telemarketers say, "Oh, wrong number..." when you answer the phone.

Oh, Angelique, these are brilliant! You really got me laughing just now, and I really needed a laugh. I love the thought of a peeping tom bored out of his mind, off to look at someone more active.

Once when I was pregnant and half the size of Texas, a man whistled at me. I was so thrilled I didn't look back at him. I knew I couldn't have stood it if he'd been mocking me.

From a kid's point of view, I guess you're right!

Aerin:

Glad you got the joke...!

Mary:

Happy to make you giggle. We ALL need a laugh this week, I think!

I love the pregnant whistler story. I wouldn't have turned around, either.

Szelsofa:

Toe jam is that crud that gets caught between your toes and under your toenails. Most unsightly and may even smell foul. Mmmm.

LOL--explaining toe jam.
Or we also like to call it 'toe cheese.'

So funny and so is that video below that I missed until just now. "I love daddy and he is my friend." I'll be singing that in my head the rest of the day. Those videos are precious!

Came back to read it again. And it's still just as funny.

Hey angelique! I've been thinking about you since you left that last comment you left on my dieting post. I can't imagine what you went through and am happy that you are better now. It is in part the reason why I spurred forth an upcoming discussion for this WEdnesday.

I hope you will pop by on Wednesday for the Q&A I am having with the author of the Lolita Effect. I think you will really appreciate the discussion we will have that day so please come by!
