Creativity Infusion

I have tons of writing projects that are going to require more than a modicum of imagination. Consequently, I've decided to come up with creative titles for classic novels. Please join me!

  • "Whore and Peas" (about ex-Gov Spitzer, perhaps?)
  • "Atlas Unplugged" (for the MTV generation)
  • "For Whom the Smell Rolls" (I need a better one for this)
  • "The Drapes of Plath" (Sylvia Plath fans will love her decorating tips)
  • "All Quiet on the Festerin' Stump" (amputation at its worst)

Help! Help!

How to heal a rocking nerd.

- A guidebook for curing addicts of online games.

I know it's a bit lame b/c of one of the vowels, but that's what I came up with.

I have to admit that it took me a few moments to figure out the original title, but I love the description! :) The image of "rocking nerds" cracks me up!

It must be that while 'kill' has a short vowel, 'heal' has a long one. That is the cause of imperfection here, I'm afraid.

I want sordid details if I'm going to buy that first book.

OMG, I just saw your organic produce post and YES, I think they do that! I grow organic produce and it looks beautiful, but in the market it's like Butterfingers McGee does the shelving or something.

OK, on to classics:

"Of Lice and Ben" -- a sweet tale for the kindergarteners to learn about the joys of parasites.

It was still good!

Maybe next we should come up with more detailed synopses of the books. :)

You made me laugh out loud with Ben's saga. That is truly funny.

Tequila Mockingbird: A tale of racial injustice south of the border.

All's Shiite on the Western Front: Shiites are relocated to the west to avoid spats with Sunnis.

Fry the Beloved Country: A tale of steamingly passionate patriotism.

Oh, I'm full of them...
