Wow-- I'm sure you cherish that one! Why is it that the earlier generations always look older than their age to me? Getting married at 15, yikes! Was she in the US? I love hearing about life during different times in history. If I could just get that time machine to work....

Wow. That's amazing. 1920s? Gorgeous picture - and I sometimes think old timey pics are hokey; but I really love this one.

My mother actually just emailed it to me. This great-grandmother was one I supposedly met when I was young, but just don't remember her.
I think it would have been taken in Italy... but I'm not sure! It's from August, 1905.

What a lovely photo. And really, they aren't making 15-year-olds like they used to. Your great-grandmother looks like a very capable person -- not like some of the 15-year-olds I see around me, harrumph.
That literally takes your breath away. That photo is crying out for a story to be told...
