It'll relieve a lot of anxiety.

Devon
Ink in My CoffeeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8326557935285065813.post-5490140869841239132008-02-04T23:09:00.000-05:002008-02-04T23:09:00.000-05:00Sheri:You are very wise, and I agree with you 100%...Sheri:

You are very wise, and I agree with you 100%. I agree with Sheri's analysis.

I often have dreams that blend unrelated people/objects from my day (much like Mary's comment about Keifer Sutherland). It is amusing to see how my brain connects them.

I'll have to check out "Lana's Blog"-- thanks Chris!Ainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08402176500997528105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8326557935285065813.post-50621482973824869822008-02-04T04:13:00.000-05:002008-02-04T04:13:00.000-05:00Go to "Lana's Blog" on my sidebar. A friend of mine who had a perfect 4.0 average and aced every test used to have this dream; she'd be taking a chemistry test and not be able to get even one answer right.

Two nights ago, I dreamed that I met Kiefer Sutherland at an emergency room and he was very pleasant to me. I have absolutely no interest in Kiefer Sutherland and cannot figure out where in the world this dream came from, though someone did loan us a whole slew of 24 DVDs the other day. Hmmm.Mary Witzlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06458299046574564155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8326557935285065813.post-40981662768448599672008-02-03T11:16:00.000-05:002008-02-03T11:16:00.000-05:00This is a common theme in dreams. If you ask a room full of people, most will have had some dream similar to this one, or that you are in school but forgot today is a big test, or that you forgot your locker combination, even though you've graduated from school perhaps a decade or two ago (or three ago). I just had one like this a few days ago too - that I just learned I wasn't done with college and needed to return and get a locker combination.

Dreams like this usually mean you are feeling unprepared for something or that you are about to be judged. I have a conference coming up this month where I will meet with an editor who read a picture book of mine and my first three chapters of my middle grade novel - I assume this is what the dream was about for me. Do you have any big conference or workshop, or presentation you are about to be a part of, the in-laws coming for a visit... anything where you might be watched, and perhaps judged? I took Freudian dream analysis in college, but he wasn't always right!
